Ninjin Ya

This doujin is actually -drawn- by Ninin Ya, a very accoplished doujinshi artist in Japan. I dont know the name of the book, but it's just gorgeous! In this story, Nuriko is telling Tasuki about his childhood with his other two siblings. This book is my second fave as I love to read about Nuri's past. Nuriko talks about all the fun times he had with his brother and sister, and how he used to be. All of a sudden, Nuriko gets faint and falls to the ground! While he's sleeping, he has dreams about how happy his life used to be, and he cant decide if he wants to wake up or not. In his dreams he get's to be with his family again, and everything is as it was years ago. But, he opens his eyes to see Miaka asleep next to his bedside, and all the rest of the seishi there too :). He then realizes that he has wonderful friends that need him to be there right now. So he decides to leave his past in his dreams, and resolves to see his family again another day. VERY sweet story!!

It's so cool how Ninjin Ya draws everyone. If you go by the drawings, it would seem little Nuriko used to be a lot like Tasuki!! He's very rowdy, and he wears his clothes very casually. I especially like that she draws him with the little flap on his shirt unhooked like Tamahome! She draws Kourin very delicately, lady-like and proper. Seems "Nuriko" is the perfect blend of the two, eh? There is another really darling image of the trio in the book too, but I only had room for one!
