Oh, this cel is just so cool! You have to excuse the nasty scan, I left it inside the bag to do this one, because I was just so scared to take it out! There are two layers that are stuck, and I dont want to disturb them if I dont have to.
This cel is just lovely when it's not in the bag...and the cheapie scanner didnt do it justice either >:(. I always loved the fight scene in FY between Ashitare and Nuriko, and I always wanted cels from that episode! I never thought I would be blessed with such nice ones though! I got this big cel from a nice guy who liked a cel I had, so we traded! Quite fine with me if I do say so! This cel is from the best episode in FY! Poor Nuri, he's trying so hard to fight, but against a man who's half animal, he has no chance ;_;. This cel is slightly oversized, some of it isnt showing. You can actually see some of Nuriko's gauntlet, and some more of his hair on the other side. There's about an inch either way that you cant see here.
I just love how Nuriko looks here, so determined...if a mite scared out of his wits! And you know what they say about a man with strong hands dont you? They're great for opening jars...among other things!! Hah! This awesome cel also came with two great sketches as well! All are in great shape! The cel has some minor line fading, but nothing bad at all. I put this non-matching bg with it too! It's hard to find pan bgs, so I used a regular one and turned it a bit :). I would just LOVE to one day get this cel signed and framed. I just adore Nuriko, and this scene and episode are my favorites out of the whole series! Definately Watase's best character, right guys? Thanks SO much to Tony for giving me this perfect cel, and for giving big nekkie Miaka a nice home too ^_^;;.
