This cel is SO darling! GAHH!! My good friend had this cel before me, but he was kind enough to let me adopt him after I lost him earlier this year. NEVER wait to think about a cel, or it will get snatched out from under you! I saw this guy on Mandarake's site in early '01. And, being the dope that I am, thought, "Ahh, it's OVA, I'd rather have money for TV cels..." Yeah...right. Nuriko is Nuriko, OVA or not, he's K-A-W-A-I-I! I went to a meeting at work, then decided I'd like to have the cel. But, it was too late, beaten I was. However, second time's a charm! I cannot thank my friend enough! ::squeal!::
::Shawnna still hesitates to watch OVAs:: I think this cel is where Nuri is talking to his brother, who has broken down, from what I've heard. He's angry at the Suzaku team for his brother's death I think, so he's hanging onto this memory ball thing that Taka needs. But, when he decides to give it up, I think this is Nuriko having an emotional moment. You cant see it here very well, but he's got little tears in his eyes ;_;! So sweet! You dont see Nuriko lose it too much in the series. I've wanted a cel from this sequence for so long, finally I have one! I usually dont post uncropped cels because I think it's messy, but this one looked so cute with this non-matching bg that I left it uncropped so you can see more of the colors ^_^. LORD I love this cel! Here is the pencil for it too, below. I just cant get enough of this image, really..I think I will visit him often here *_*.
