This cel is so so so pretty! I had watched it in a big collector's gallery since the day I saw it! I even got to see it in person once a long time ago. Out of all the cel she had (and she has some goooood ones) this one hit a chord with me. I dont know why, Im not too fond of OVA cels, but this shot is too perfect! Such a sweet smile, awww ;_;.
Unfortunately, the cel was left in a semi-tattered bag with the bg, it didnt have it's own protective bag. When I took the cel out for a closer look, I thought the colors on the paint had faded badly. I almost died, as I spent quite a nice penny on him. But, what it actually is is there are three layers here. The more acetate you have, the foggier the colors underneath get. This is mostly noticeable when you place a multilayered cel on a bg. You can see how the colors become faded or dingy on the bg through the acetate. When I peeled up the top two layers, I saw the colors were fine, it was just the chunks of acetate making them look washed out. Ahh, Id hate to think such a gorgous cel got faded! It also has the original matching bg wit it, bonus! The linework is exquisit on this cel as well. Definately my best OVA Nuriko. Thanks Animiko!
